Beauty and heartbreak, two things that seem to be completely opposite of each other. Yet, when changing the perception of what these words mean, we find that there can be beauty in heartbreak.

1. Heartbreak shouldn’t be something to avoid, but to embrace:
It means you’re alive! Heartbreak is a form of suffering and suffering is a part of living. Of course happiness is the goal, and if you can experience difficult situations while recognizing the growth that can come along with it, you will have happiness at your core even still. Whilst in heartbreak, you are experiencing a powerful emotion among the array of possible emotions to feel. Embrace it. Embrace that you are able to experience something this strongly.
2. Heartbreak is an indication that you have loved. Be thankful for that:
You hurt when something you care about is taken from you or is no more. If there was no care, there would be no pain. Loving someone is the ultimate bond between two people, and the fact that you were able to access these feelings and connect on such a level is something to be thankful for. The pain you feel now is only present because it shows how deep you were able to love. That’s beautiful.
3. Heartbreak is an opportunity to experience better:
No relationship is perfect, but we want to find that person who can be the best life partner for us. For whatever reason this relationship didn’t work, all it means is your soul has not yet found its mate. Now you have the opportunity to find that better fit, and all the teachings you gathered from your previous relationship can help fine tune what that better fit is.
Heartbreak is a part of life, and the fact that you get to experience it is amazing. It means you’re a loving person capable of giving so much. Now it’s just a matter of finding the right person to receive it.
